The painting in person had even stronger colors and they really belong, on account of the kind of day it was and the noon time light. Did you revise the smaller one? After seeing the one with the people at the picnic tables, I took a hard look across the water to the colors under the trees. I was surprised by the intensity of the orange/reds.
