Point Pinole
Moving things are interesting to paint and it took two sessions to get some time with the shore birds and still I need to go back. The boat was going back and forth and I changed it many times.
I like the intense colors, but you still get some distance in the sky and water. I think the ship is in a good place for the comoposition. It becomes part of a curve connecting the top of the forground weeds and the bird and creek.
Thanks Larry. I think some of the distance is comming from the slight shadow of the clouds on the water but I was thinking I wished I had made that a little stronger in the composition.
