    Two great paintings Karen! Subtle tones in the sky with rich color and contrast in the foreground. Nice!

    I like them both. But this one here seems to have something different going on for you.The large area of bright blue water in the middle really sets off the subtle dark reds and golds in the foreground. Quite a bit of space.

    Love the color contrasts displayed in the first painting! The dark colors in the foreground keep the eye moving up up up into the brightly colored sky. -Karah
