Albany Waterfront Park

The difficulty for me in painting grafitti is in expressing both the local color and the volume shadows. This was a big piece of cement totally painted. I do love painting grafitti — something about capturing the marking of an object.- a dog and his territory......or cave paintings....a history

  1. This painting captures the gritty character of painted concrete really well and the whole atmosphere of the Albany Bulb, down near the water's edge. The color especially and the way you joyfully render the graffiti is really pleasing. I agree - cave paintings - history in the making. Looking forward to seeing what you did yesterday.
